Via 313 was founded by brothers Brandon and Zane Hunt, who grew up eating Detroit-style pizza in Michigan. When they moved to Austin, TX, they couldn't find that thick, crispy-edged, airy-crumbed square pizza they'd loved their whole lives — so they decided to make it themselves.
The name "313" pays homage to Detroit's iconic area code — a nod to the city that gave birth to this beloved style of pizza. Starting from a single food trailer on Rainey Street in 2011, via313 quickly developed a devoted following that couldn't get enough of that unmatched crust and rich, edge-to-edge cheese coverage.
